PLYMOUTH - Hey! Come join us in church as we are looking forward to seeing YOU. The First United Methodist Church is temporarily holding its two “in-person” services at the United Church of Christ at the corner of N. Center and Adams streets. The UCC has very graciously opened their sanctuary for our use at 8:30 am and 11:15 am on Sunday. Services will continue to be live streamed on Facebook and posted shortly after the service.

SUNDAY’S LITURGISTS: Dick Tobias at the 8:30 a.m. service and Ruth Van Vactor at the 11:15 a.m. service. Organist Kay Finlay and pianist Sarah Smith will play “Morning Has Broken” for the prelude and then Kay and Sarah will play “Just A Closer Walk With Thee” for the anthem at the 11:15 a.m. service. Thomas Boys is pianist at the 8:30 a.m. service.

PASTOR TONI’S MESSAGE: “Are You My People?” Text: Ruth 1:1-18 Title: Are You My People? Theme: Naomi’s husband dies, and after some years, her two sons die as well, leaving her with two daughter’s-in-law, Orpah and Ruth. Naomi blesses the women and encourages them to return to their own families. Orpah leaves while Ruth stays, and the women create a new family. Though families can be complicated, they can - - at their best - - enrich and bless.

Almighty God, we dedicate ourselves to serve you, for you alone are our God. Through Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. And remember - - God is good... all the time! Amen.
