Ply BPWS meet Monday night

The Board of Public Works and Safety (BPWS) meeting will convene Monday night at 6 p.m. The meeting is located at 124 N. Michigan Street on the second floor, use the Garro Street entrance. The Common Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. or right after the BPWS adjourns.

On the agenda for the night includes orders of action to be taken regarding 2550 N. Michigan Street and 1808 Hillcrest avenue.

City attorney Sean Surrisi will present an agreement by and between the City of Plymouth and Priority Project Resources, Inc for grant administra­tion and labor standards for the River Park Square improvemen­t project. There will also be a request to use the prepayment provision under the local ordinance for grant programs to issue checks for two remaining parcels on Hoham Drive.

There are a series of requests the board will consider. They include:

• Caker Properties request for exemption from Meter Change Out Policy to allow reduction of water meter from 2” to 1”.

• St. Michael Church Holy Walk.

• Request for a property on Pearl Street to make payments and for the penalty to be waived.

• Request for a property on Lake avenue to make payments and for the penalty to be waived.

• Request to close Michigan Street for annual holiday parade.

There are two utility work in the right of way applicatio­ns from Surf Broadband for Plymouth Phases 7 and 11 that will be presented for the board’s considerat­ion.

The Common Council will see an executive order ratifying Riverside Commons building permits, discussion of updates to ada transition plan, and a resolution approving the purchase of handheld radios for the Plymouth Fire Department. Meetings are open to the public.
