Thomas Boys is pianist at the 8:30 a.m. service.

NAMING OF THE SAINTS: A chime will be rung and a candle lite in honor of those members who have died in the past year

PASTOR TONI’S MESSAGE: “Are You My People?” Text: Ruth 1:1-18 Last week we read the beginning of Ruth and Naomi's story. Today we'll take it to its conclusion. In Ruth 3:1-5, 4:13-17, Naomi instructs Ruth about how she can act to secure a future for herself and for her mother-in-law. Ruth does exactly what Naomi tells her to do which results in marriage and a child who will not only redeem the women, but will begin a bloodline that will redeem the world. We are reminded how God works in unexpected ways through unexpected people, making good things happen.

SACRAMENT OF HOLY COMMUNION - All are welcome at Christ's table to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion. A Suggestion: to take communion for those watching the service on line - - take a cracker or a slice of bread and some grape juice and follow the Pastor Toni’s guidance during the sacrament

Eternal God, we give you thanks in which you have given yourself to us. Grant that we may go into the world in the strength of your spirit, to give ourselves to others, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
