The Barns Christmas Musical through Dec. 31

NAPPANEE - Most folks are already quite familiar with the classic holiday tale of “a Christmas Carol.” Now the beloved classic penned by Charles Dickens is about to add a musical spin to the story, and it’s being presented locally by the theatrical company at The Barns at Nappanee.

Tickets are now available for “a Musical Christmas Carol,” making a special appearance on the hallowed Round Barn stage. The production will be offered until Dec. 31, with several matinee performanc­es as well as evening shows. Individual tickets are priced from $33.95 - 37.95 for adults, $23.95 27.95 for students, and $13.95 - 17.85 for children.

Meal and show packages are also available for purchase, at $63.95 67.95 for adults, $53.95 - $57.95 for children, and $28.95 - 32.95 for children. The meal includes seating at the Farm Table Restaurant, where guests will dine on the buffet style feast, followed by dessert, drinks, tax, and tip.

“a Musical Christmas Carol” introduces the audience to a timeless cast of characters, including the miserly, bitter, and selfish Ebenezer Scrooge. He is joined by his nephew, Fred, who seeks to be a light to Scrooge, the ever optimistic and grateful Bob Crachit, his joyful family, and Tiny

Tim, with his faith and love for everyone.

The streets of London come alive with singing and dancing, and families join together around the fire in the first epic song, “When Christmas Eve arrives.” Guests will come away inspired and full of hope with this exciting new musical that seeks to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas, the light of truth, and the spirit of human kindness that is all around us.
