WEDNESDAY, APRIL 6

• The Town of Argos and Marshall County Crossroads is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Stellar Project, William L. Foker Park, located at 137 Pond Street in Argos. It will be held at 5:30 p.m. This ceremony marks the official re-opening of the park, locally known as pond park. This project is a Marshall County Crossroads Regional Stellar Communitie­s Program project and supported by the Indiana DNR Land and Water Conservati­on.

• Wednesday Night Specials at the Plymouth Elks Lodge: Fish basket, smoked pork chop, cheeseburg­er platter. Serving from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Carry outs available.

• The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive at St. Isidore Hall, located at 803 W. Bike Street. It will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There are two types of donations for this event: Blood and Power Red. Blood is the most common type of donation, during which approximat­ely a pint of ‘whole blood’ is given. This type of blood donation usually takes about an hour. A Power Red donation collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor. These donors must meet specific eligibilit­y requiremen­ts and have type A, Neg, B Neg, or O blood. Appointmen­ts are needed. Schedule online or call 1-800-RED CROSS.

• Join the Bourbon United Pentecosta­l Church, located at 201 N. Bourbon Street for prayer revival from April 6-8 at 7 p.m. and April 10 at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

• One of the best ways to beat the winter blues is by engaging in the tradition of board games. Currently, the Bremen Boardgame Club is welcoming new members. This club is comprised of a small group of players who meet weekly in the Bremen Public Library, every Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. The club is open to players of all ages, but the focus is on participan­ts aged 17 and older for the more mature games. • The Matchett Center in Bourbon is the place to visit for those who aspire to reach fitness goals in 2022. Cardio HIIT classes are now being held every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. The first session is free, and the exercises can be modified for beginners, so everyone is welcome.

FRIDAY, APRIL 8

• Friday Night Specials at the Plymouth Elks Lodge: Fish (AUCE), Jumbo Shrimp, Fish and Shrimp, Baked Pork Chop. Includes salad-potato-dessert. Serving from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Carry outs available.

SATURDAY, APRIL 9

• There will be a fish fry from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Pine Creek Church of the Brethren, located at the corner of Pine and Stanton Roads. The fish is fried by the famous Tyner IOOF Lodge. Tickets are $12, drive thru only.

• Breakfast with the Easter Bunny is returning on Saturday, April 9. It starts at 9 a.m. at the Webster Recreation Center in Plymouth. The Kiwanis Club will be cooking the food. The cost is $3 per child and $4 for adults and includes one plate of pancakes and sausage. Please consider buying tickets in advance so they can have enough food. Tickets are for sale at the Plymouth Park Office, located at 1660 N. Michigan Street. Cash or check are acceptable. They will also be selling tickets at the door.

MONDAY, APRIL 11

TUESDAY, APRIL 12

• The Walnut Township Board and the Walnut Township Trustee will be holding a meeting. It will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the B&R Building, located at 194 S. Michigan Road in Argos. The agenda includes review of the first quarter report, and consider any other township business.

• The Tippecanoe River/wythougan Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold its April meeting on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. at the Marshall County museum. The meeting is open and anyone who is interested is welcome to attend. The museum is located at 123 N. Michigan Street in Plymouth.

• Trivia buffs will enjoy the Tuesday evening sessions of “Trivia with Ken,” which is a weekly event designed to challenge even the most seasoned scholar of statistics and facts. • Kiwanis of Plymouth meets every Tuesday at noon at Opies Deli, 114 N. Michigan Street in Plymouth. We are an organizati­on of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time. We support several children’s charities in our community. Come and hear our weekly speakers from business owners to local children’s programs.

• Tech Tuesdays are coming! Need some help with your cell phone or tablet? Want to learn about the features of these devices? Tech Tuesdays start on Tuesday, Feb. 22. Members of the Plymouth High School Honor Society will be at the Life Enrichment Center/marshall County Council on Aging, located at 1305 W. Harrison Street in Plymouth to offer assistance on operating your cell phone, tablet, or other device. Bring your device and questions with you. The students will be there from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. each Tuesday for the months of March and April.

• Stay strong and healthy with chair exercises at the Matchett Event Center in Bourbon. This event starts at 11:30 a.m. with lunch and exercises to follow. For meal reservatio­ns, contact Real Services at 574-342-7031.

SATURDAY, APRIL 16

• Easter Egg Hunt for your Dog will be held by the Marshall County Humane Society. It’ll be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Let your dog enjoy its own egg hunt in a securely fenced play yard. As you pick up the eggs when your dog finds them. Bring your own basket or bag to take goodies out of eggs home. Auto Park Buickgmc has generously donated toys, treats, and prize filled eggs for this hunt. Donation of $20, only $10 each for second or third dog. (Limit 3 per household). Must live in the same household. (All proceeds go directly to shelter.) Take pictures of your dog with the Easter bunny. Each hunt will last 10 minutes. All dogs must wait with you in your vehicle until his/her turn to hunt. Additional rules will be posted and followed that day. The shelter is located on a busy highway and the safety of your dog and family is their upmost concern. Preregistr­ation is required. For more informatio­n, call the shelter at 574-936-8300.
