Doris J. Hamman

December 10, 1933 - April 26, 2022

Doris J. Hamman, age 88, of Bourbon, IN passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in her daughter’s home surrounded by her family.

Doris was born on Dec. 10, 1933 to Edward and Edith (Fear) Scott in Bourbon, IN. She was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Bourbon High School in 1952. She attended the Bourbon First United Methodist Church. She worked for Biomet, Inc. for 33 years until her retirement in 1999.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Kenneth) Mcintosh of Pierceton, IN; her sisters: Martha Penn of South Bend, IN; and Mary Jane (Doyne) Snider of Bourbon, IN; along with several nieces and nephews.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Edith; her daughter, Karen (Dec. 12, 1991); and her brothers: Edward Dale Scott, Jr.; Gerald Leroy “Joe” Scott; and Donald Lee Scott.

Visitation service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Deaton-clemens Funeral Home (115 S. Main St., Bourbon, IN 46504).

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11 a.m. in Deaton-clemens Funeral Home (115 S. Main St., Bourbon, IN 46504).

Burial will follow in Summit Chapel Cemetery (Bourbon, IN).
