• Walkerton Epsilon Chi Spring Style Show is just around the corner!! Save the date... April 28, Urey Middle School, Walkerton. Doors open at 5 pm. Salad Bar, Style Show, and Raffle Activities begin at 5:45. Tickets available from Jennifer Reese Cygert at the Walkerton-lincoln Township Public Library or by calling Gail Suter 574-250-1574.

• The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive at Plymouth Community Church, located at 11802 Lincoln Highway in Plymouth. It will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Appointmen­ts are needed. Blood is the most common type of donation, during which approximat­ely a pint of ‘whole blood’ is given. This type of blood donation usually takes about an hour. A Power Red donation collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor. These donors must meet specific eligibilit­y requiremen­ts and have type A, Neg, B Neg, or O blood. Schedule online or call 1-800-RED

• The Plymouth Elks Lodge is serving the following for their Friday Night Specials: Fish (AUCE), Jumbo Shrimp, Shrimp and Fish, Chicken. This includes salad bar-potato-dessert. They’re serving from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Carry outs are available. Call 574-935-5511.

SATURDAY, APRIL 30

• There is a Tyner Fish Fry from 4 p.m. until sold out. It will be held at the Tyner Community Building/fire Station. The fish is prepared by the Tyner Odd Fellows. The cost is $12. Drive-thru carryouts and revised dine-in.

• The Maxinkucke­e Odd Fellows are holding pancakes and sausage, biscuits and gravy breakfast on Saturday, April 30 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. EST at 15003 18thb Road and Pine Road (South of SR10 between Culver and Argos).
