TUESDAY, MAY 10

• The Maxinkucke­e Singers and Players are putting on their Singers Spring Tour. Admission is free for all shows and all shows start at 7:30 p.m. EST with doors opening at 7 p.m. EST. Show dates are as follows:

Tuesday, May 10th in Plymouth at Church of the Brethren- 1130 N. Michigan St.

Wednesday, May 11th in Argos at United Methodist Church- 570 N. Michigan St.

Thursday, May 12th in Knox at United Methodist Church- 201 S. Shield St.

The Maxinkucke­e Players will be holding auditions for their 2022 production of “The Sound of Music”. Auditions will be held at the Culver Community High School on Saturday, May 14th from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm EST and Sunday, May 15th from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm EST. Those auditionin­g should come prepared to sing an audition song of your choice and read lines from the provided scripts for your audition. • Did you know that you can learn how to knit or crochet at our building? Experience­d stitchers meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 9 a.m. to fellowship and knit or crochet. They are more than willing to teach anyone how to knit or crochet. Plan to join them at 9 a.m. at Marshall County Council on Aging/life Enrichment Center, 1305 W. Harrison St., Plymouth some Tuesday soon.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 11

• The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive at the Plymouth Public Library, located at 201 N. Center Street. It will be from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Appointmen­ts are needed. Blood is the most common type of donation, during which approximat­ely a pint of ‘whole blood’ is given. This type of blood donation usually takes about an hour. Schedule online or call 1-800-RED CROSS.

• The Class of 1958 is having their luncheon the month of May at the Lapaz Diner, corner of 31 and 6. The time is 11:30 a.m. That is each Wednesday on May 11, 18, and 25. If you have a question call: Marilee 574-914-1878. If you need a ride, call.

• The Plymouth Elks Lodge will be serving the following Wednesday Night Specials: Fish basket, swiss steak, tenderloin platter. The meal includes potato-salad-dessert. Serving from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Carry outs available call 574-935-5511.

• Brief Legal Clinic is today at noon at Marshall County Council on Aging/life Enrichment Center, 1305 W. Harrison St., Plymouth. Free 30 minute consultati­on sessions with an attorney are scheduled by calling us at 574-936-9904. No walk-ins are accepted.
