Rick B. Greenlee

Rick B. Greenlee, age 67, of Bourbon, IN, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023 in

Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw, IN.

Rick was born on Jan. 20,

1956 to Stanley Burton and Marie

(Carter) Greenlee in Bremen, IN.

He was a resident of the area all his life and graduated from Triton

High School in 1974. He then went on to ITT Tech and attained his Associate degree in Electrical Engineerin­g along with a B.A. degree in Robotics. He married Carman Gardner in September of 1984. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from Oct. 25, 1974 to Dec. 11, 1975. He enjoyed music, Sci-fi movies, comics, and was very proud of his native Cherokee heritage. He was a devoted, loving husband, father, brother, and uncle. He was known as “Bruncle” to his nieces and nephews. He loved everyone!

Rick is survived by his wife, Carmen Greenlee; his son, Jesse (Kristen) Greenlee of Nappanee, IN; his sisters: D of Ashville, NC; Diane “Charlene” Young of Moore, SC; Nina Young of Bourbon, IN; and Joyce Cripps of Ashville, NC; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Greenlee (1/18/1990) and Marie Greenlee (10/31/2011); his brothers-in-law: Kent Young and Dennis Young; and his nephew, Vyron Cripps.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 10, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Bourbon United Pentecosta­l Church (201 N. Bourbon St., Bourbon, IN 46504).

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Bourbon United Pentecosta­l Church (201 N. Bourbon St., Bourbon, IN 46504) with Bishop Mark Cottrill presiding.

Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery (Lapaz, IN). Memorial donations may be made to Bourbon United Pentecosta­l Church (201 N. Bourbon St., Bourbon, IN 46504) or St. Jude Children’s Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org/ donate).
