Phyllis Holderman February 16, 1931 - February 24, 2023

Phyllis Holderman, age 92, of Etna Green, IN, passed away on Friday, Feb. 24, 2023 in Paddock Springs of Warsaw, IN.

Phyllis was born to Nicholas and Katie (Wyman) Holderman on Feb. 16, 1931 in Etna Green, IN. She was a longtime resident of the area and attended the Etna Green Church of Christ. She worked as a cook at various restaurants as well as working at the family meat market. She and her sisters had a restaurant in Bourbon as well. She enjoyed bird watching, crossword puzzles and she loved her two cats.

Phyllis is survived by her seventeen nieces and nephews; along with many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Katie Holderman; her sisters: Mary Miller; Evelyn Sickman; Donnabelle Davis; Virginia Holderman; her brothers: Forrest “Welcome” Richard Holderman; and David Holderman.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Deaton-clemens Funeral Home (115 S. Main St., Bourbon, IN 46504).

Funeral Service will follow on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Deaton-clemens Funeral Home (115 S. Main St., Bourbon, IN 46504).

Burial will take place in Etna Green Cemetery (Etna Green, IN).
