PSP-DuBois
• Police conducted a traffic stop at 9:07 p.m. July 18 on Main Street in Falls Creek. The driver showed signs of being impaired on a controlled substance and was arrested on suspicion of DUI. Charges are pending.
• Police are investigating a burglary between 6 and 6:30 a.m. July 17 on Route 28 in Snyder Township, Jefferson County. The actor parked on an adjacent property and walked to a garage, then pried the rear office window open and entered. The actor then ransacked the office and stole a 22.caliber revolver from a desk. The actor exited through the rear garage bay door and fled the scene in a silver Hyundai Tucson north on Route 28.
• Police responded to a location on Sykesville School Road in Winslow Township, Jefferson County, at 4:35 p.m. July 9 to speak with a caller about a problem with a neighbor. Marijuana plants were observed growing in plain view in the arrestee’s residence. Charges will be filed.
• Police responded to a one-vehicle crash at 8:38 a.m. April 17 on Route 28 in Snyder Township, Jefferson County. The driver allegedly was under the influence. Charges will be filed.
PSP-Punxsy
• Police are investigating a report of identity theft via Pennsylvania unemployment compensation at 10:32 a.m. July 19.
• Police engaged in a vehicle pursuit at 6:54 p.m. July 2 on Route 36 in Oliver Township, Jefferson County. After approximately 20 miles, the driver crashed the vehicle into a guiderail and was taken into custody. No injuries were sustained. The driver faces charges including DUI.
• Police came into contact with a man who drove to the Punxsutawney barracks to be fingerprinted at 7:45 a.m. July
20. Troopers observed multiple visual indicators of suspected drug-related impairment. The man was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The investigation continues.
