• Police are investigat­ing a report of theft made at 2:27 p.m. Sept. 19 on Greenwood Avenue in Bell Township, Jefferson County. A headstone was removed from the Circle Hill Cemetery American Legion plot.

• Police responded to a report of harassment at 5:53 p.m. Sept. 23 on West Main Street in Big Run. The victim said unknown actor(s) were utilizing fake profiles on Snapchat and Facebook to send him harassing messages.

• Police responded to a hit-and-run at 12:07 a.m. Sept. 20 in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County. The driver of a 2019 Freightlin­er Cascadia went into Love’s Truck Stop and returned to find minor damage to the front of the vehicle. No physical evidence was observed, there were no witnesses and there was no surveillan­ce footage. The case has been closed.

• Police responded to a domestic altercatio­n at 5:19 p.m. Sept. 21 on Marsh Road in West Mahoning Township, Indiana County. Harassment charges were filed against two individual­s.

• Police conducted a traffic stop at 7:04 p.m. Sept. 23 on Route 410 in Henderson Township, Jefferson County. The driver allegedly was under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of prescripti­on pills. Charges are pending.

• Police conducted a traffic stop at 11:23 p.m. Sept. 9 on Apple Street in Bell Township, Jefferson County. The driver allegedly was under the influence of alcohol. Charges will be filed.

• Police responded to an altercatio­n at 12:30 a.m. Sept. 7 on Glenwood Avenue in Glen Campbell. The defendant allegedly slammed the victim’s arm in a car door twice and threatened her. Charges were filed.
