PSP-Punxsy
• Police are investigating a report of theft/ criminal mischief at 1:48 p.m. Jan. 11 on Rabbit Hill Road in Chest Township, Clearfield County. A SIM card was stolen from a trail camera.
• Police are investigating a report of indecent assault between Jan. 1 and Feb. 1 in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.
• Police are investigating a report of child abuse at 1:28 p.m. Jan. 6 on Hill Street in Westover.
• Police conducted a traffic stop at 5:23 p.m. Feb. 5 on South Main Street Extension in Young Township, Jefferson County. The driver was suspected of DUI. Charges are pending.
• Police responded to a report of harassment at 9:28 p.m. Jan. 25 on 2nd Street in Canoe Township, Indiana County.
• Police are investigating a report of burglary at 1:56 p.m. Jan. 30 on West 1st Street in Burnside. Police have a suspect.
• Police responded to a one-vehicle crash at noon Feb. 3 on East Main Street in Mahaffey. A 2019 Chevrolet Traverse lost traction due to snow and slid off the road, striking a curb and a utility pole. No injuries were reported.
• Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct at 8:32 a.m. Jan. 30 on Ridge Road in Burnside Township, Clearfield County. The actor appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance.
• Police responded to a one-vehicle crash at 6:28 p.m. Feb. 5 on Route 119 in North Mahoning Township, Indiana County. A 2013 Ford Escape struck a deer. No injuries were reported.
• Police responded to a one-vehicle crash at 3:09 p.m. Feb. 6 on Winslow Road in Gaskill Township, Jefferson County. A 2007 Ford F-150XLT accelerated into a tree after the driver’s foot slipped off the brake and onto the gas pedal. No injuries were reported.
• Police responded to a one-vehicle crash at 4:57 a.m. Jan. 26 on Route 36 in Rose Township, Jefferson County. A 2011 Chevrolet Malibu failed to negotiate a curve, went approximately 100 feet off the roadway and struck a tree. The driver was transported to Penn Highlands DuBois with injuries of unknown severity and was cited for speeding.

• Police are investigating a report of trespassing at 11:04 a.m. Feb. 2 on Beechwood Road in Washington Township, Jefferson County. Unknown actor(s) entered a property when it was clearly posted “No Trespassing.”
• Police are investigating a hit-and-run at 5:25 p.m. Feb. 2 on Anderson Creek Road in Union Township, Clearfield County. A 2014 Chevrolet Equinox was at a stop sign when a blue pickup truck turned left onto the road and side-swiped it. The truck continued without stopping. No injuries were reported.
• Police conducted a traffic stop at 10:20 a.m. Jan. 4 in Sandy Township, Clearfield County. The driver allegedly was under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of suspected crystal meth and a digital scale. Charges have been filed.
• Police are in possession of a dark blue Motorola phone found in the area of 2173 Hickory Road, Penfield. Anyone with information is asked to call PSP-DuBois at 814-371-4652.
• Police responded to a one-vehicle crash at 8:55 a.m. Feb. 4 on Bennetts Valley Highway in Huston Township, Clearfield County. A 2010 Hyundai Accent went off the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a cement barrier. No injuries were reported. The driver was cited.
• Police responded to a report of harassment at 10:32 p.m. Jan. 26 on Arch Street in Snyder Township, Jefferson County.
