Thomas Hale - Connecticut
The Citroën Squall was a factory design study from 1959, dubbed ‘The French BAT', and was an exploration of what a low slung aggressive sports car could look like from the company, based on simple sporting mechanical. It was then shown at the 1960 Paris Motor Show painted in the same Orange as the 1959 DS. The car was recently found and restored as shown at the Motor Show with the help of the original designer, Guy Mismaque, who at 87 years old, was elated to see his masterpiece being restored. The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering marks the first time the car will be shown since 1960.
