Would someone please explain to me how the county patched the road out of North Greenbush, drove up Plank Road in Poestenkill, six or eight miles and patched one out of 25 to 50 holes. It’s ridiculous. Wake up, America! We are now third-class citizens of our own country. Wake up in a hurry. I’m calling in response to a letter that was in your newspaper over the weekend, written by the North Greenbush town supervisor along with other members of the town board. This concerns CB Smith, of course and I am delighted to see the letter and I couldn’t agree with it more. Things have gotten ridiculous out in North Greenbush due to the likes of him. He can’t have things his way so wants to play spoiler. If they really want to cut taxes in the county all they have to do is enforce the mandates the state put on the county. The stuff about consolidating is just not the answer. I’m calling about Time Warner Cable. I just received my bill in the mail and it went up $30. All I get is repeats and commercials. I just got done watching 15 commercials before a show came on. This is ridiculous. Our cable went up again. Just keeps getting higher and higher, and the service keeps getting worse and worse. I’m sounding off about NASCAR. I don’t like it and it shouldn’t be on TV. It’s a waste of time and money. It must be nice that the city of Troy workers can deliver mail to people. People can’t go and get their own mail? The secretaries have to deliver it? It must be really nice. What is this administration coming down to? They get paid overtime for this? I would assume so. They get everything else, but they can’t plow the roads. This is for Heatly School, Green Island. As a grandparent, and a village resident of 40 years, we can’t afford the school no more. My school taxes this year went up $100. I’m on a fixed income. Time to do something. Time to get rid of the school maybe. I’m calling in about Niagara Mohawk. The government should start doing something. I got a bill for $400. What happens to the people that can’t afford this? The government should step in. The business is run out of another country. Where were Sen. Gillibrand and Congresswoman Pelosi when President Clinton was doing his thing in the White House? What are you doing to the crossword puzzle? Can’t even see it.
