CIVIL WAR ROUND TABLE: The Capital District Civil War Round Table and other local groups will honor Major General George Thomas on the 200th anniversar­y of his birth in a special ceremony at his grave site in Oakwood Cemetery at 10 a.m. Thomas, known as the “Rock of Chickamaug­a,” will be celebrated with a review of his remarkable life. HARRY POTTER PARTY: Harry Potter is back, and on Saturday, July 30, at 8 p.m. Barnes & Noble Colonie Center will host a special Countdown to Midnight Party leading up to the release of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One & Two,” a special rehearsal edition script book, which

goes on sale July 31 at midnight. The party will feature a special Muggle Wall where customers can share their favorite memories of Harry Potter as well as several amazing events.
