First Night Saratoga 5K Run: The 19th annual First Night Saratoga 5K Runwill be held on Saturday, Dec. 31 at 5:30 p.m. The run is limited to the first 1,500 registrants. There is no day of race registration. The race has sold out for the past fifteen years. Register by Nov. 25 for the early registration fee of $25 and a guaranteed longsleeved shirt. Racing experts Tom Amello, Jeff Carle and Brian Nadeau will participate as panelists in the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame’s annual Countdown to the Breeders’ Cup preview program on Saturday Oct. 29 at noon in the Museum’s Hall of Fame Gallery. The program is free to attend and open to the public. The Museum will provide complimentary copies of The Blood-Horse’s Breeders’ Cup preview edition, featuring past performances of all the pre-entries.
