ALBANY - Ellen Sharon Hogan, 74, of Weymouth Street died Thursday, Febbrief ruary 23, 2017, at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn Albany after a illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Milton Nelson and Blodwen Griffiths Nelson and wife for 37 years of Francis W. Hogan. She was raised in Brunswick and resided the past 17 years in Albany and was a graduate of Tamarac High School class of 1960.

Ellen was a Tax ance Supervisor for the New York State Dept of Tax and Finance for 17 1/2 years , retiring in 2005 and also worked at SUNY Albayears. ny and at CDTA for many

She loved her dogs, going to the beach and the casinos.

Survivors include two sons, Darren (Dawn) McJacsevne­phews, Geary, Green Island and Deane (Amy) McGeary, Clifton Park; a sister, queline (Paul) Overdorf, Troy; three grandchild­ren, Sean, Erin and Kyla; eral nieces and Jeneffer, Jason, Melissa, Heather and Paul Jr. and her dogs, Bayly and the late Bonnie. She was pre4-7 deceased by a daughter, Deborah McGeary and a sister, Marilyn Shevy.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Monday, February 27, 2017 from PM.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Karyl Hopp, officiatin­g.

Interment will be in gle Mills Cemetery Eagle Mills.
