POESTENKILL HISTORICAL SOCIETY: Rensselaer County Historian Kathy Sheehan presents “50 Years Later,” a program she has been working on for past summer and fall. Following Bernd Foster’s book, “Architecture Worth Saving in Rensselaer County,” Kathy went around to the various properties mentioned and pictured in the book and took photos of what those properties look like in 2016. Her program is based on these before-and-after pictures, including several photos of buildings in Poestenkill.
