CLIFTON PARK - nis Michael Murrisky, 62, of Clifton Park NY, passed away peacefully on FebruSteFo­lenof ary 13, 2017 in Wilmington, NC.

Born July 10, 1954 in Troy NY, he was the son of phen and Rose Murrisky. Dennis was a graduate of Lansingbur­g High. lowing graduation he listed in the US Navy from 1974-1979. On the 3rd Oct. 1975, the Purple Heart was awarded to OfPetty ficer 2nd class Murrisky for wounds received in acCaliforn­ia tion against hostile forces, aboard the USS John F. Kennedy CV-67. Following the Navy, Dennis had many occupation­s in various places ; London, Maryland, New York, Florida, and Whales.

“Dennis Mennis” as he called himself on Faceadadex­beach book, lived a very colorful free spirited life. He was always ready for a new venture. The family never knew where he would end up next. Dennis’s last venture would take him south to Wilmington, NC where he made it his final resting place. He was cited to be near the to live out his retirement.

Dennis is survived by, two children and three grandchild­ren, two brothnephe­ws. ers and one sister; John F. Murrisky, Kevin Murrisky and Arleen Clendening, and numerous nieces and

Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Murrisky of Troy NY, his brother Steve Murrisky of Saratoga Springs, and his father Stephen Murrisky of Hanford, CA.

A mass at St. Augustine’s Church will be Saturday March 3, 2017 at 9am. A family and friends reception will be held following mass at Speigletow­n Volunteer Fire Co.
