WATERVLIET – Margaret Rose Gonsowski, 91, of Wa2017. tervliet, died at her home with her loving son Fred J. Gonsowski, Jr., and her daughter, Margaret Mary Gonsowski holding her hand, on Monday, March 13,

Margaret was born in chanicvill­e, NY to her parents Mary and Paul Dankulich on December 29, 1925.

She graduated from chanicvill­e High School and Albany Business College.

She was employed at General Electric in Schenectad­y, NY; the NYS Edu- cation Department; the Board of Standards and Appeals; and the NYS La- bor Department Division of Safety and Health. She retired in 1991 after thirty years of state service.

Margaret Rose married Fred J. Gonsowski, Sr. on July 9, 1950. Margaret Rose’s husband died on November 16, 1995.

Margaret was a Vice ident of the Rosary Society when she attended Sacred Heart of Mary Church in Watervliet. Margaret, Fred Sr. and their family later joined Immaculate Conception Church in Waterv- liet which then became Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.

Margaret was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Maranatha Prayer Group.

Margaret enjoyed ing, gardening, saying the rosary daily, watching grams on the Eternal Word Television Network, and spending time with her loving family.

In addition to her ents and husband, Marby garet was pre-deceased her siblings, Anna Kutey, Paul Dankulich, Michael Dankulich, Mary Nolan and Joseph Dankulich. She is survived by her son and daughter; sisters-in-law Julia Dankulich and Josephine Anselment; brother in-law Richard Roth; and several nieces and nephews.

The services will be held on Monday at 9:15 AM from the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet and at 10 AM in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Church, 7th Avenue and 25th Street, Watervliet, where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Reverend Donald Rutherford.

Friends are invited to attend and may also visit with Margaret Rose’s family on Sunday from 4 until 8 PM at the funeral home.

Rite of Interment and burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colonie, NY.
