TROY, N.Y. >> More than 300 people filled Brown’s Brewing Co.’s Revolution Hall on Tuesday night to sample the innovative uses of Girl Scout cookies by some of the Capital Region’s best chefs and bartenders.

The Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York’s annual Cookies and Cocktails fundraiser gave supporters an opportunity to taste unique dishes such as Savannah Smiles fried chicken over Trefoil waff les with Samoa syrup and Moroccan Do- si- do potato latkes with apricot relish and wash them down with drinks ranging from Do-si- do milkshakes to piña Samoas. Nearly a dozen area establishments, including Brown’s

Brewing and other local favorites like The Ruck, Old Daley Custom Catering, Druthers Brewing Co. and Longfellows set up shop on both floors of the hall as TS Ensemble serenaded guests.

In addition to food and cocktail sampling, the night include a silent auction that featured items for all tastes, including event tickets, gift certificates and more.

Julia Dunn, morning news anchor at WRGBTV (CBS 6 Albany), served as mistress of ceremonies and was joined in judging the entries by WTENTV ( News 10 ABC) morning meteorologist Nick Johnston and Daniel Berman, local community ambassador for Yelp, a website and mobile app that connects people to local businesses.

The judges chose Ama Cocina of Albany for favor- ite cuisine and Old Daley Custom Catering’s The Thin Mint as their favorite cocktail, while People’s Choice awards went to Old Daley’s cuisine and Brown’s Brewing’s libations.
