TROY - Julius Camprone, 83, of Hoosick Rd. died Sunday March 26, 2017 at his son’s home. Born and educated in Troy he was the son of the late Salvadore and Mina Forenza Camprone.

Julius had been employed for 31 years at the Norton Co. in Watervliet and retired in 1987. Prior to that he had been employed at the New York State Lieutenant Governor’s Office as well as at Montgomery Wards in Menands. He was a member of the United Papermaker­s and Paper Workers Union. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and a communican­t of Our Lady of Victory Church in Troy.

Survivors include his children, Michael Camprone (Pat) of Troy, Angela Durivage (Joe) of South Carolina, Anthony Cam- prone (Sheri) of Brunswick and Gina Vincent (Bob) of Maine. He was the brother of the late Joseph, Edward and Anthony Camprone and Nina DeRossi. Numerous grandchild­ren and great grandchild­ren as well as several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford and at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
