auditions: The Tri- City Valley-Cats are set to host their 7th Annual National Anthem tryouts at Crossgates Mall on Saturday, April 8from 10: 00 a. m. to 12: 30p. m. Registration will begin promptly at 9: 30 a. m. and will be located on the lower level outside of Lord & Taylor.
The top five finalists will have their performances videotaped, which will then be placed online for a fan vote. The top vote- getter will receive the opportunity to perform on one of the biggest nights of the year at
“The Joe,” such as Opening Night and the 4th of July, in front of an average crowd of 5,000- plus fans. The rest of the finalists will be awarded the chance to sing at another night during the season. Hudson Valley Community College Athletic Hall
of Fame: Hudson Valley Community College is seeking nominations for its 2017Athletics Hall of Fame ceremony. Deadline for nominations is Friday, March 31. The 2017 Hall of Fame ceremony will take place in the fall of 2017 in conjunction with Homecoming, which will be announced at a later date. Members of the campus community are invited to submit nominations for former athletes, coaches, teams or an associate member, administrator or contributor who have made extraordinary contributions to Hudson Valley Community College through intercollegiate athletics.
