auditions: The Tri- City ValleyCats are set to host their 7th Annual National Anthem tryouts at Crossgates Mall on Saturday, April 8from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30p.m. Registrati­on will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. and will be located on the lower level outside of Lord & Taylor.

The top five finalists will have their performanc­es videotaped, which will then be placed online for a fan vote. The top vote- getter will receive the opportunit­y to perform on one of the biggest nights of the year at “The Joe,” such as Opening Night and the 4th of July, in front of an average crowd of 5,000-plus fans. The rest of the finalists will be awarded the chance to sing at another night during the season.
