Tamarac cruises to big win over Mechanicville

TAMARAC 17, MECHAN
ICVILLE 7>> Piddy McGrath went 3 for 3 with three runs and four RBIs and Dalton Maxon went 3 for 3 with three runs and two RBIs to lead Tamarac to the 17-7 victory over Mechanicville.
Jacob LaFountain had one hit in the game, but it was a grandslam. It wasn’t enough to get Mechanicville in the game.
Robert Lemrow pitched all six innings for Mechanicville and gave up 17 runs and 14 earned. Tamarac got five innings out of Jack Mulligan, who gave up only one run and struck out five. Tristian Nemjo took over for him in the sixth and gave up six runs and the home run from Mechanicville. BALLSTONSPA5, COLONIE3>> Donavan Rhoden hit a two run single in the sixth inning to lead Ballston Spa over Colonie 5-3.
NISKAYUNA 19, ALBANY 1>> Alec Ritzenhaler went five strong innings, giving up one run and the bats came alive to get 21 hits and 19 runs in Niskayuna’s 19-1 win over Albany. Tyler Senecal went 3 for 5 on the day with a homerun and five RBIs and Nick Insognia went 4 for 5 with two doubles and two RBIs.
SOFTBALL
COLONIE 10, TAMARAC 0>> Colonie was led by Sarah Baluch who went 4 for 4 with a double and 2 RBIs, Ciana Phillips who went 2 for 3 with a Triple and an RBI and Myaisha Kelly who hit a 3-run homerun and had three RBIs and took the 10- 0 victory over Tamarac. Colonie also had a combined no hitter in the game that was called after five due to rain. Maria Tedisco went three innings striking out five and Emily Kurtzner went two striking out four. ICHABODCRONE10, LANSINGURG 0>> Ichabod Crane took the big victory over Lansingburg 10-0. The Riders got 13 hits, while Lansingburg managed two and had an error in the game.

LASALLE 6, SCHOHARIE 0>> LaSalle swept the matchup against Schoharie 6- 0. SHAKER 7, SCHENECTADY 2>> Schenectady maaged to win their first two matchups, but it was all Shaker from there. Shaker took the 7-2 victory.
