Brown’s Summer Sessions

Presented by Brown’s Brewing Co. and Ryan’s Wake

Thursdays at 5 p.m. June 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 and July 13

Brown’s Summer Sessions is a six-week outdoor craft beer and live music experience held behind Brown’s Troy Taproom on the banks of the Hudson River. Brown’s has partnered with WEQX to curate a roster of outstandin­g artists to perform at the riverfront stage.

Enchanted City Steampunk Festival

Saturday, Sept. 16, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Celebratin­g its fourth year, The Enchanted City is the Steampunk Tale of Troy. The fairy tale of the city’s future and past is revealed for a day in an urban spectacle of invention, imaginatio­n and theater that honors Troy’s Victorian and industrial heritage while highlighti­ng the city’s emerging creative economy and technology sector.

Headlocks on the Hudson

Sunday, June 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Riverfront Park

Headlocks on the Hudson is an outdoor freestyle and Greco Roman Wrestling tournament hosted by Curby 3 style Wrestling Club. The event is open to all ages, abilities and genders, with youth athletes from as far as Canada, Chicago and Maine competing.

New York-Penn League All-Star Game

Game: Tuesday, Aug. 15, at 7:15 p.m. at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium

Fan Fest: Monday, Aug. 14, at 5:30 p.m. in Riverfront Park

The Tri- City Valley-Cats will host the 2017 New York- Penn League All- Star Game this sum- mer for the first time since 2008. All- Star Game festivitie­s will be a two- day event starting with a concert and fan fest Monday, Aug. 14, in Riverfront Park featuring a national act. Then, on Tuesday, Aug. 15, the brightest stars of the New York- Penn League will be showcased at the league’s All- Star Game. Gates will open at 4 p.m. for autograph sessions, a special Home Run Derby and other fan-interactiv­e activities. First pitch is scheduled for 7:15 p.m..

Powers Park Concert Series

The 14th Annual Powers Park Concert Series offers free concerts, with food and non- alcoholic beverages also available.

50th Annual Troy Flag Day Parade

Sunday, June 11, from 1 to 3 p.m.

The Troy Flag Parade, long touted as the nation’s largest flag day celebratio­n, is set to celebrate its 50th anniversar­y this summer. The event attracts 50,000 spectators lining the 4th Street parade route.

Troy Flea

Troy Flea is a twicemonth­ly outdoor market focusing on vintage clothes, furniture and housewares, and specialty handmade and crafted items.

The Troy Waterfront Farmers Market is a year- round, producer-only farmers market now in its 18th season with more than 80 local, producer- only vendors, with products ranging from organic produce to artisan soaps.
