13th annual Sage Gator Golf Classic: A fund raiser for the Sage College athletic department, will be held June 5 at the Albany Country Club. Registration for the scramble format will be at 8 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9a.m. Entry fee is $185per person or $740 per foursome, and includes breakfast, lunch and a full-scale buffet dinner. Sage Gators’ Summer Basketball Camp for boys: The camp for boys ages 7-15 will take place June 26-30. Register online at Sagegators.com. Sage girls’ basketball camp: The camp is open to girls ages 7-16 and will run from June 26-30. Emphasis will be on skill development and improvement, effort and teamwork. Camp enrollment is limited to the first 50 registrants. Cost of the camp is $175 per person prior to May 1 and $200 after that date. Each participant will receive a camp T-shirt. Coaching course: “Principles, philosophy and organization of high school athletes”, one of the courses required to coach in New York State high schools, will be held June 3 to 4 and June 10 to 11 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Saratoga Central Catholic High School in Saratoga Springs. Participants must attend all class sessions in order to complete the course. Registration fee is $195 prior to May 21, and $250 after May 21. Bernie Williams at Center for Disability Services fundraiser: Four time World Series Champion Bernie Williams, who was a center fielder for the New York Yankees, and Latin Grammy nominated jazz musician, will be the a celebrity guest and will play jazz guitar at the 23nd annual An Aficionado Experience, a fundraiser for the Center for Disability Services, Thursday, June 8, at 6 p.m, at the Pruyn House in Loudonville. Williams will sign autographs for VIP sponsors during a special reception, he and his band will perform for guests during the night, and he will have his photo taken with fans in a special photo area.
