TROY - Doris Burnap DesLaurier­s, 95, of Burdett Avenue died Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center Troy after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Le Conser attend College Roy Nelson Burnap and Florence May Huff Burnap and wife of the late Joseph F. DesLaurier­s Jr. She had resided in Troy all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School, Troy vatory of Music and ed courses at The of Saint Rose and Hudson Valley Community College.

Doris taught piano and organ for 40 years, starting at age 16.

She was a communican­t of Trinity Episcopal Church in Lansingbur­gh co and coordinato­r of the hot meal food programs of the Lan Churches. sing burgh

Survivors include her special friends, Joe and Judy Cunningham and family, Troy and Evelyn Bedard, Albany. She was predecease­d by a daughter, Dorothy J. McGuire.

Relatives and friends may call at the Trinity Episcopal Church 585 Fourth Avenue North Troy on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 3:30-4:30 PM with a service to fol officiatin­g. low at 4:30PM with Rev. Desmond Francis, Rector,

Interment will be in wood Hill Cemetery Troy.
