New Albany Pittsburgh flights set to begin
ALBANY, N.Y. » OneJet opened sales Thursday on its inaugural route to Albany, with flights beginning June 28 to and from Pittsburgh.
The flights will offer a one hour linkage between the two cities, providing twice daily nonstop service, especially timed for business travelers.
Flights from Pittsburgh to Albany depart at 5:50 a.m (arriving 7 a.m.) and 6:20 p.m. (arriving 7:30 p.m.).
Trips from Albany to Pittsburgh depart 7:20 a.m. (arriving 8:35 a.m.) and 7:50 p.m. (arriving 9:05 p.m.).
OneJet is an air transportation network that provides increased access to nonstop travel in small- and mediumsize markets,
“The ability for travelers to quickly and easily move between key cities is a critical factor for our major corporate customers and other business travelers,” OneJet CEO Matthew Maguire said. “We’re pleased to provide additional transportation linkages to both Pittsburgh and Albany that will support the continued economic growth of both regions.”
Service will be operated by the company’s Hawker 400XP jet aircraft. Passengers may take advantage of expedited boarding, complimentary highspeed WiFi and Transportation Security Administration preaccess.

This inaugural route presents an important first step in bringing additional, nonstop air transportation infrastructure to New York state, providing a critical economic tool for the city of Albany and an important complement to the hub services provided by mainline carriers,” said former U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray Lahood, a senior advisor to OneJet.
