Fundraiser for supervisor a success in N. Greenbush

-

The Friends of Lou Desso are humbled by the recent expression of support from our local community, colleagues, and friends who gathered for his fundraising event in his quest for re-election as the North Greenbush Town Supervisor.

With an outpouring of loyalty and love, a remarkable 527 people packed the walls of the Franklin Terrace on the evening of May 17, 2017! A special thank you to Michael Coccoa for hosting this event at his amazing venue. To kick off the evening on a blessed note was St. Jude the Apostle’s Father Anthony Ligato, followed by the LaSalle Color Guard with the presentation of our American flag. Guests enjoyed music provided by John Donohue and the night was MC’d by Rensselaer County Legislator Kelly Hoffman, (R, District 2 Representative).

In attendance were family members, long time friends, residents of the Town of North Greenbush, and many State and County officials. A unity of folks who love and respect Lou as not only a phenomenal human being, but a highly respected supervisor of the little town with a big heart.

Guest speakers included Rensselaer County Executive Kathleen M. Jimino, and Senator Kathy Marchione, both of whom reminded us once again why Lou Desso is the current North Greenbush Town Supervisor, and the numerous reasons as to why he should, and will be again.

Let me conclude with a final heartfelt “thank you” for your faithful support over the years. Lou and Deb are filled with so much gratitude for the many supporters who have not only let us meet or goals, but have allowed us to surpass them!
