COHOES - Mary Jane belle Girard, 88, formerly of Cohoes passed away peacefully at Van R ensse Sat ur family laer Manor, Troy on day, July 8, 2017 with her by her side.

Born in Cohoes and cated in St. Joseph’s elegradumentary school and ated from Cohoes High School, she was the daughAcSilver ter of the late Sigefroid and Rose Lemieux Isabelle. She retired from the City of Cohoes School District. A longtime parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church, Cohoes, a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and St. Joseph’s tivities and Mothers Club. A member of the Cohoes Senior Citizens and Tops. She loved to travel with her husband and spend time with her family.

Loving wife of Edward Girard of Troy, mother of Susan (Geoffrey) Whittle of Loudonville and Kathy (Kevin) Boivin of Rochester. Grandmother of frey (Christine) Whittle, Jr., Jennifer Whittle (Roger Smith), Laurie (David) Cook and Christine Boivin (Cathy Richardson), great grandmother of Hayden and Mary Kate Cook and Haley Clark. Sister of the late Leo Isabelle, Armand Isabelle, Rita Charlebois and Laura Krause also surnephews. vived by many nieces and

Funeral Tuesday 9:00am at the DUFRESNE FU- NERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Rev. Richard ofTesta ficiating.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7pm.
