HERMAN MELVILLE BIRTHDAY: On Saturday July 29, at 10 a.m., the Lansingburgh Historical Society (LHS) will celebrate Herman Melville’s 198th Birthday. Bercaw Edwards, PhD., Associate Professor at the University of Connecticut.
