Before retiring in 1991, he worked at non-profit research and corporate R&D labs in the fields of electron-microscopy and photographic science. RUN FOR THE ROSES: Registration is open for the 32nd Annual Run for the Roses 5K Foot Race on Sunday, August 13at Grafton Lakes State Park. The event benefits Grafton Community Library, and includes a 2.5Mile Nature Walk and Kids’ 1Mile Fun Run in addition to the USATF sanctioned 5K race. Deadline for reduced entry fee is August 7.
