Etheal W. Deeb
TROY - Etheal W. Deeb, 93 passed away on Sunday August 20, 2017. Etheal was the loving wife to the late George Deeb.
Born in Houlton, Maine, she was the daughter to Emmons Whittier and Doris Mooers Whittier.
Etheal worked as a clerk for NYS Department of Motor Vehicle for 20 years, retiring in 1982, she also was a partner in Deeb’s Milk Bar in Lansingburgh with her husband, retiring in 1985.
She was a member of the former First Presbyterian Church in Lansingburgh, now Cornerstone Community Church in Lansingburgh. She was a member of the Women’s Guild of the First Presbyterian Church and former member of Presbyterian Home for Women.
Etheal is survived by her granddaughters Michelle (Joel) Harden of Colonie and Nicole (A. J.) Hotaling of Waterford, her great grandchildren Brian Hotaling and Danny Hotaling, her son in law Brian Fausel, also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband George, she was predeceased by her daughter Bonnyburke Fausel.
Relatives and Friends are invited and may call on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh.
Funeral service will be Thursday 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Oakwood Cemetery. Donations may be made to the charity of choice in memory of Etheal Deeb.
