A TRIBUTE TO LIFE Frederick J. Yager Sr.

HOOSICK FALLS - Frederick J. Yager Sr., 92, passed away on Tuesday August 15 at the South Western Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, VT, surrounded by his family after a brief illness.

Born March 1, 1925, Fred was the son of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Yager Sr. and has been predecease­d by them as well as siblings; William Yager and Agnes Alarie. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth Mary ( Eldred) Yager, five of his children; Frederick J. Yager Jr., Michael D. Yager, Mark W. Yager, Karen E. Marchegiaw­ni, Judith A. Kelley, nine grandchild­ren and six great grandchild­ren.

Frederick or Fred as everyone Knew him was a great man of many talents. He grew up in Troy, NY and was a life long member of St. George’s Church in Pittstown, NY. Fred worked at Beekman Wholesaler­s and later Oak Mitsui where he retired. He was a loving family man, an avid bee keeper, woodworker and loved his garden. Fred was a one of a kind man, adored by his wife and children and the best “Grand Pa” his grandchild­ren could possibly have had.

Their will be services as per his request, but please take a moment to reflect on this great man, the lasting impact he has made on all of us.

Arrangemen­ts are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY.

John F. Schneider

TROY - John F. Schneider, 85, passed away August 25, 2017.

Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Mary and Rudolph Schneider and the husband of Cecelia Curtin Schneider. He was a high school graduate who was formerly a member of the National Guard. Prior to retiring, he had been employed as a marketing technician by G. E. Silicone Products for 39 years. He was a communican­t of Sa Sagoing cred Heart Church prior to retiring to Florida. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling to Las Vegas and on cruises.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Jack Schneider, Karen Stalter, and Linda Gazica; five grandchild­ren; three great grandchild­ren; and several nieces and nephews. He was prede - ceased by a brother, Rudolph Schneider, Jr.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 10: 30 a. m. at Sacred Heart Church, Troy where the Mass of Chris - tian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in Saint Jean’s Cemetery, Troy.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Daniel D. Purcell Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 until 8 p. m.

Lisa Robin Leftikf

EWA BEACH, HAWAIIW - Lisa a Robin Leftik Leftik, 4 40, of Hawaii died Wednesday, August 9, 2017.

Born in Honolulu, she was daughter of Patricia Tsof chumi Hargreaves of Troy and Dr. Martin Ira Leftik Honolulu. She was sur - vived by a sister, Diana Friedlande­r of Boca Raton, FL and a brother, Adam Jay Leftikf ik of Alamo, CA and three nephews, Jonathan Leftik, Christophe­r Hingt - gen and Micah Leftik and a niece, Chloe Leftik. She was predecease­d by her maternal grandparen­ts, George and Jane Tschumi.

She ran track, and played soccer and bowling with Special Olympics.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 1- 2 PM with a graveside ser - vice following with Rev. Anthony Ligato, officiatin­g.

Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery Troy.
