Cohoes girls edge ‘ Burgh

COHOES, N. Y. » Natalie Ricci scored two goals and added an assist as Cohoes’ girls soccer team beat Lansingbur­gh 3- 2 in a Foothills Council contest.

Shannon Cipel had the other Tigers goal of an assist from Hannah Ragule and goalkeeper Sam Dayter made 15 saves.

McKayla Criscione and Dimetria McIntyre both scored for the Knights in defeat while goalkeeper Jillian Currier made a match- high 18 saves.

SHAKER3, UTICA PROCTOR 0 » Will Augstell scored two goals, Demani Johnson had two assists and Davis Blau added the third goal for the Blue Bison in a non-league win Friday. Keegan Flaherty had six saves for Shaker to earn the shutout.

LATHAM, N. Y. » Shaker defeated visiting Averill Park by a score of 3- 1. Shaker came out strong in their home opener and scored quickly when Ethan Snyder converted a Greg Hale corner kick. Shaker doubled their lead a short while later when Will Jelstrom fired in a cross that Greg Hale finished far post. Shaker’s final tally came when Ian Wu scored off of a pass from Ethan Snyder. Shaker was in control at half and up 3- 0, but AP regrouped and got on the offensive. No. 4 for AP converted a penalty and AP looked dangerous on several other chances, but Shaker was able to deny

Y. » Seven different Blue Streaks scored goals for the hosts today in their victory over Schenectad­y; Simon Smith, Ben Crandall, Evan Farr, Henry Grose-close, Peter Moller, Aidan Rice, and Luke Clark. Schenectad­y got great performanc­es on the ball from Patrick Palmer, as well as goalkeeper, Mike Avramidis. He showed great athleticis­m with multiple saves between the pipes.

Everard. Soon after Tamarac went back on top with a nice give and go with Max Alie finishing the pass from Ryley Hisert. Hoosick Falls would then ties it up again with a goal from Your ry Reynolds assisted by Evan Webster. Tamarac scored thewinning goal when Max Ali dribbled through the Panther defense and notched home the goal. Tamarac scored the goal while they were a man down. Tyler Petersen had 9 saves for Tamarac and Cody Hodges had 12 for Hoosick Falls. SCHUYLERVI­LLE, N. Y. » Schuylervi­lle defeated Broadalbin-Perth, 9- 0. Leonard, Jessie House and Sara Philips added one apiece for the Blue Streaks who improved to 2- 0 on the season.

Kristen Rodecker and Renee Bangar combined for nine saves for Saratoga Springs in the shutout.

Columbia’s Mady Hogan made a game- high 15 saves for the Blue Devils ( 1- 1).
