QUEENSBURY - Eva C. Bussey Hogan, 92 passed away peacefully on Friday September 8, 2017. Born on July 14, 1925, she was the daughter of Charles Bussey and Anna Farrell Bussey and the loving wife to the late Joseph Hogan, he died in 1996. Eva grew up in Troy, raised her family in Delmar then Newtonvill­e and moved to Wilton in her adult years, most recently residing at the Stanton Nursing Home in Queens - bury for the last 4 years.

Eva worked for New York State Department of Trans - portation as a payroll clerk for 17 years, retiring in 1987.

Eva is survived by her children Christine Get-Colorado, zelman ( Bob) of Denver, Barbara Keville ( Greg) of Troy, Joseph Ho-Getzelman, gan ( Lisa) of Gansevoort and Mary Ellen Benham ( Kirk) of Saugerties, her grandchild­ren Matthew Sarah Magnat - ta, Katie Ewing, Eric Kev-grandchild­ren. ille, Jason Keville, Daniel Hogan and her eight great

Eva was predecease­d by her siblings Robert Bussey, Dottie Doody and Maryy Lalley.

She joins her loving hus-eternal band as well as lifelong friends Ron and Lady, her brother, sisters, brother in law Chuck and sister in law Mary Brinkman for their party in heaven.

Eva’s family wishes to thank the staff at the Stan the ton Nursing Home for all the compassion­ate care they provided to E Eva these last 4 years.

Family and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday September 13, 2017 from 10: 00 am to 11: 00 am with funeral ser - vice to follow at 11: 00 am at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Av - enue, Lansingbur­gh. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Troy. In lieu of flowers donations in mem - ory of Eva may be made to Alzheimer’s Associatio­n.
