Margaret Patricia ‘ Pat’Pat Johnston Brock

NORTH GREENBUSH - Margaret Patricia ‘ Pat’ Johnston Brock, 92, died September 15, 2017, at Van Rensselaer Manor after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Rev. Arthur Johnston and Alice Kathleen Clarke Johnston and wife of the late KenLake, neth Lee Brock. She was born and raised in Troy and resided in West Sand Skaneateles, NY, re - turning to Troy. She was a graduate of Emma Willard School, earned a bachelors degree in English from Russell Sage College class of 1947 and the Boston Mu - seum School of Fine Arts. She also attended ttended various arious arts and crafts courses.

Pat worked drafting in the State Architect’s office, the office of Highway En - gineers, the State Educaand tion Division of Research finally as an artist/ de - signer for the State EducaCounty tion Department. She later worked for Rensselaer ARC as a Supervi - sor of the Adult Training Class.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian in Alba - ny and Brunswick Church, Aglow and a member and teacher at Birchkill Arts and Crafts.

Survivors include a daughter, Holly Lee ( David) New, Poestenkill; a grand - daughter, Erin Lee ( Luke) Murphyp y Reiter, , Averill Park and three great grandchil - dren, Kendall Lee, Maddia Patricia and Lucas Patrick Reiter.

Pat was dearly loved by her family, was a warm lovbe ing person devoted to her friends and family and will greatly missed.

The family would like to thank the Van Rensselaer Manor and The Commu - nit nity Hospice ospice of Rensselaer County for their loving care of Pat.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf- Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 4- 6PM with a service to follow at 6PM with Rev. Henry Kim, offi - ciating.

Interment will be in Lake View Cemetery Skaneateles.
