TROY - Helen Brooks, 89, of Troy NY entered into her eternal resting place peace - fully, September 17th, 2017.

Helen was born October 28th, 1927 in Russell New York to the late William and Peggy Lafavre. Hel - en married her first love Leo Brooks on March 3rd, 1946. Helen is predeceased by her husband and only sibling Maurice ( Arlene) Lafavre.

Helen worked as a prep cook at Carol’s Diner in Stillwater NY for many years. Helen enjoyed Bin - go, crossword puzzles, putting puzzles together, cookhad ing, baking and spending time with her family. Helen a special love for holi - days and animals.

Helen leaves to cherchildren ish her memory her three Michael, Brad - ley ( Betty- Jo) and Penny as well as seven grandchildren, seven greatBrooks grandchildren and a host of relatives and Friends. Helen’s family would like to extend their deepest ap - preciation to the staff of the Eddy Heritage House in Troy for the loving care that they have given our mother and grandmother over the years.
