WE EST SAND LAK KE - Richard ard Jette, 81, of WestW Sand Lake died September 23, 2017 at home.
Born in Lebanon, NH, he was the son of the late Ruth ( Charboneau) and Oliva Jette and the husband for 63 years of Charlotte Jette. Educated in New Hamp - shire schools, he attended Hudson Valley Community College. Dick was a mem - ber of the Army National Guard, serving for six years. After 12 years of em - ployment at an auto dealership, he retired in 1998 from Albany International after 32 years of service as a maintenance mechanic in textile manufacturing. He and his wife have been parishiioners at Saint Hen - ry’s Church for the past 50 years and he was a devoted husband, father and grand - father. In his earlier years, he enjoyed bowling and he was an avid baseball fan.
Dick is survived by his wife; a son, Michael Jette and his wife, Claudia of Webster, NH; a daughter, Michelle Snyder of Sand Lake; a grandson, Jacob Snyder: two granddaugh - ters, Catalina and Mariana Jette; a brother, Charles Jette of Rumney, NH; a sis - ter, Elaine Devlin of Greer, SC; and many nieces, neph - ews, cousins, in-in laws,laws and friends.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9: 45 a. m. from the Daniel D. Purcell Funeral Home, 510 Pawl - ing Ave. at Parkviewkv Court, Troy and at 11: 00 a. m. at SaintHenry’s Church, Aver - ill Park where the Mass of Christian Burial will be cel - ebrated. Interment will be in Saint Henry’sy Cemetery.y
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the fuuntil neral home Tuesday from 4 8 p. m.
