America acting like British Empire in Middle East

-

Iraq, Iranian and Turkish forces are about to crush the “new” Kurdish state. Other than our long standing alliance with Israel America should be out of the Mid East, Gulf, Palestine, greater Arabia. For future reference I will call these regions, Mesopotamia.

I was watching an British produced ‘ war’ movie made in the early 1930’ s, dealing with World War I Mesopotamia One should not take their history lessons from movies but flicks do reflect the cultural mind set of a certain time. Lawrence Of Arabia was a 9.9 on a scale of 0- 10. One bad scene due to a US .30 caliber air cooled machine gun in a battle scene, they were not in use at that time. That aside.

The British made war movie portrayed the Kurds as the most evil group in Mesopotamia. The British and French were responsible for the current Mesopotamia situation. They created it after World War I. “The war to end al wars.” Nations & boundaries were created that allowed ancient animosities to fester. After World War II the British handed off Mesopotamia to US. Part in payment for lend lease & part in deference to Americas new found power. “No good deed goes unpunished.”

America is the British Empire re- brand.

In 1948 an Irish First Cousin of mine was a member of the 9th Para, 6th Air Borne, UK, stationed in Palestine, Haifa. The 9th’s mission was to enforce an UN mandate. My cousins company commander gave the lads a pep talk. He told them that “the Jews were the worst terrorist the British Army ever dealt with.” Many of the lads were Irish guys from Southern Ireland.

If the British were not in everyone’s back yard they would not have had so many terrorist to deal with. Ditto America.

The Kurds will be put on the cross when the Turks, Iraqis & Iranians finish with them. Thee are no good guys in Mesopotamia, only victims. The abused always become abusers. Today’s bad guy is tomorrow’s victim.
