BRUNSWICKU - Beula ah J. ( Littlefiel­d)l field)fi ld) HeH witt,itt t, 9 92, a lifelong resident of Bruns - wick, died peacefully, Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Van Rensselaer Manor Nursing Home fol - lowing a short illness.

Born in Brunswick, July 15, 1925, Mrs. Hewitt was the daughter of the late H. Nelson and Alice Viola ( Wilson) Littlefiel­d and for 64 years the wife of the late Dennison “Denny” A. Hewitt who predecease­d her in October 2011.

Mrs. Hewitt attended the Clum’s Corner District # 2 Brick School in Crop-seyville.

As a young woman she worked as a seamstress for the former Cluett, Pea - body and Company in Troy. More recently she has been a homemaker caring for her husband family and beautiful flower gardens.

In her quiet time Mrs. Hewitt enjoyed putting together one- thousand piece picture puzzles. She was also an avid reader.

Mrs. Hewitt is survived by a daughter and son- inFrancis, law, Denna and Brooks Brand of Laurens, NY, a son and daughter- inlaw, Nelson and Ginger Hewitt of Brunswick, two grandchild­ren, Matthew Hewitt ( Tara Francis) of Guilderlan­d and Aaron ( Jamie) Hewitt of Colonie, five great- grandchild­ren, Alex Francis, Ashleigh Ryder Hewitt, Mi - kayla Hewitt and Brayden Hewitt and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Beulah was predecease­d by two broth - ers and a sister, the late Millard Littlefiel­d, Ralph Littlefiel­d and Winifred Bulson as well as a grand - son, Christophe­r Brand.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 2: 00 P. M. at the Howard B. Tate & Son FuneralF al HomeH I Inc., 2237 New York Route 7, located in Raymertown with Rev. Gaylord Campbell officiat-ing. Burial will follow in the Eagle Mills Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funer - al home on Monday from noon until 2: 00 P. M. prior to the funeral service.

Joan A. Aransky

TROY - Joan A. Aransky ( M Murray)ay) died peacefully on September 24, 2017 at the Eddy Memorial Geriat - ric Center in Troy. She was 87 years old.

Joan was a longtime resident of Troy, NY.

She was predecease­d by her parents Joseph and Cecilia ( Beeler) Murray and her husband Peter Aransky.

She attended Catholic Central High School and after graduation in 1947 went to work for Verizon formerly known as the New York Telephone Com - pany where she worked for 40 years and attained Management Status in both Menands and later East Greenbush. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Upon retirement Joan moved to Ft. Lauderdale Florida and was blessed with many years of both happy and healthy retire - ment time. In later years Joan returned to Troy to be closer to her family and resided in Wynantskil­l, NY where she both enjoyed life as well as keeping ev - erything up to date in her home. Joan was a commu-nicant of St. Jude’sJude’ Church in Wynantskil­l.

Joan is survived by her son Frank M. Renasiewic­z ( Jo- Ann) and granddaugh - ter Joslyn McArdle. She is predecease­d by a brother Joseph Murray. Joan is survived by her two sisters Jeanne Vaughn ( Arizona) and Janice Kennedy ( Flor - ida) and a brother James Murray along with many nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank the loving and compassion was ate care provided by the staff of the Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center where she a resident to be reck - oned with since May 2017.

Joan’s wish to have an informal conclusion to her life will be respected and followed. A mass of Chris - tian burial will be conducted on a future date. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s cemetery in Troy.

TROY - Peter M. McMcMahon Mahon, ahon, 54, passed awayy peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side.

Peter was born in Troy,

NY June 9, 1963. He was the only son of the late Peter M. McMahon and Patri received cia Burke McMahon. Peter attended Troy High School and later joined the United States Navy from which he an honorable dis - charge.

Peter was employed by the New York State Depart Shop ment of Health as a Print Supervisor. He re - tired in 2016.

Peter was an avid NY GIANTS fan. He was also a fan of local casinos and racetracks. He loved to golf with his close friends and family.

One of Peter’s greatest accomplish­ment was his sobriety. He was a loving member of the 12 step pro - gram.

Peter is survived by his wife, Mary ( DeLorenzo) McMahon, his daughter Christine McMahon ( Itha-ca, NY) and his son Gabriel McMahon ( Troy, NY), stepson Patrick VonFricken ( Troy, NY), granddaugh­ters Leigha Casey and Lilliyana Welch. He is also survived by his three sisters, Erin McMahon ( Watervliet, NY), Rita DeChairo ( Bob - by DeChiaro)- deceased, Peggy Acevedo ( Nico). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Peter is pre- deceased by two sisters, Kelly Loveless ( Jamie), Janet McMahon.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 3pm to 6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Sche - nectady Rd., Watervliet, NY 12189. A service will imme - diately follow at 6pm at the funeral home.

William J. Bloomer Sr.

BOYNTONVIL­LE - William J. Bloomer Sr., 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Boyntonvil­le on September 27, 2017, son of the late Edwin and Ellin Bloomer.

Predecease­d by a brother, James Bloomer and sister, Ellin Bloomer.

William will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of 46 years, Catherine Bloomer, and his two children, William J. Bloomer Jr. and Melissa Bloomer, Grandpa to Aldo and Maso Gironta, brother, Michael ( Karen) Bloomer, Tom ( Tina) Bloomer, as well as several nieces and nephews.

William was a proud steel worker of 27 years at the former Al- Tech Steel, where he also acted as the executive guide for the Lo - cal 2478 United SteelWorke­rs ers Associatio­n for four of those years. After it’s clos - ing, he finished his career at the Comfortex Manufac - turing Company in Green Island.

Mr. Bloomer enjoyed raising many bird dogs, hunting, fishing, and trap shooting with his family and friends.

A private memorial service is planned.
