Watervliet church to hold annual gala

WATERVLIET, N.Y. » St. Ann’s Maronite Catholic Church will host its 17th annual Hafli, a Lebanese gala dinner, from 7 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Italian American Community Center, 257 Washington Ave. Extension, Albany.

The night of exotic Middle Eastern culture will feature music by famed Lebanese singer Ayad Atallah, belly dancing by Valeria from New York City, as well as dinner provided by Malozzi’s and traditional Lebanese mezza. There will also be dancing, door prizes and a cash bar.
