TROY - Timothy W. ter” Horton, 63, died Octoat ber 21, 2017 home.

Born and raised in Troy, he was the son of the late John P. Horton, Sr. and the late Rita M. Horton and brother of the late Robert A. Horton. A graduate of La Salle Institute and HVCC, he was employed for 31 years and retired from Niagara Mohawk Power Company. Tim was a communican­t of Sacred Heart Church, and a memAthin ber of the Emerald letic Club and the Sons of the American Legion Wynantskil­l. He was an avid Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees fan who also loved watching and playand ing golf and was a devoted father, grandfathe­r, companion and best friend to Becky Horton.

Survivors, in addition to Becky, include his chilHordre­n, Steven (Kelly) ton and Kaitlin Horton; a grandson, Brody Horton; a brother, John P. Horton, Jr.; a sister-in-law, Mickie Horton; a nephew, Matthew (Jessica) Horton; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Daniel D. Purcell Funeral Home, 510 PawlRelin8 ing Ave. at Parkview Court, Troy and at 10:30 at Sacred Heart Church, Troy where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
