Alfred F. Chenot

ALBANY - Alfred F. not, 90, of Loudonvill­e Road died Friday, October 27, 2017, at St. Peter’s Hosbrief pital after a illness.

Born in Pawtucket, RI, he was son of the late Felix Chenot and Alice Vachon Chenot and husband for 24 years of Carolyn Miller Chenot. He had resided in North Greenbush for many years and since 1986 in AlSchool. bany and was a graduate of Pawtucket, RI High

Al was the founder and CEO of Greenbush Tape and Label and owned and operated three JiffE-Marts located in Averill Park, Schodack and North Greenbush. He also owned Van-DenHouten Square and many area apartments.

Al was an entreprene­ur, a private pilot for many years and spent many hours flying with his wife. He was, an Army veteran of the Korean War serving in intelligen­ce in Germany and later a Navy veteran. Al was asked to speak at 2 University graduation­s. His favorite story was how he began his career setting pins at a bowling alley in Rhode Island at the age of 14.

Survivors in addition to wife include two sons, James (Janice) Chenot, Latham and William A. (Regina) Chenot, Castle-Cheton; his grandchild­ren, William A. (Kristin) not Jr., Ryan (Elizabeth) Chenot, Patrick and Mat-Chris-Jorthew Chenot, Caitlin (Kevin) Cehowski, tie (C.J.) Gordon and dan C. Chenot; six great grandchild­ren, Kevin Jr., Cole, Ava Cehowski, Torin Chenot, and Cooper and Audrey Chenot and nieces and nephews, Bobby, David and Nathan Chenot and Robin (Mark) Ovsag; a sister-in-law, Wanda Chenot and Theresa, the mother of his children. Carolyn’s daughters, April Von-Bor-Lionchildr­en, stel and JoAnn (Paul) arons and their Jason Kramer, Walter and Kirstin VonBorstel, Brittni (Nicholas) Ottati, Morgan and Joshua Lionarons and 5 step great grandchild­ren. He was predecease­d by a brother, Robert Chenot.

Concetta M. Farano

TROY - Concetta M. ano, 86, of Alder Avenue died Thursday, October 26, 2017, at her residence.

Born in Troy , she was daughter of the late Pasquale Farano and Maria Farano and sister of the late Dr. Rocco A. Farano and Hon. Dan G. Farano.

Concetta was a life long resident of Troy and graduAnate­d from Troy Schools. A communican­t of St. thony’s Church, she was a social worker the New York State Department of Social Services, a member of the Albany Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and, also, a vol Hospital. unteer at Albany Memorial

Carol Ann Frost

TROY - Carol Ann Frost, 71, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in the Bronx, she was the daughter of Mary Ann Drago of Albany and the late Charles J. Brown and beloved wife of the late

Jerome “Jerry” Frost, who died in 2014. After high school, Carol studied acting and per-commuforme­d in small nity theater. In her late teens, she relocated to the Capital District with her family and worked briefly as a dental assistant.

Carol married her ing husband Jerry making his life complete. She was an incomparab­le wife and mother. Carol was an outto going person who greeted everyone she passed, with her infectious smile and personalit­y. Carol loved visit Boston and despite her ties to The Bronx, she was a big Red Sox fan. She also enjoyed traveling abroad with her husband, espe-could cially to France, where they made several friends. She was a consummate hostess and organized first-class galas in her home. Paul R. Ano

TROY - Paul R. Ano, 84 of 6th Avenue died on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Albany Medical Center.

He was born on March 8, 1933 in Ausable Forks, NY, to the late Leon and AbiDrinkwi­ne gail Ano.

In later years he moved to Troy, NY and subsequent­ly worked for many years at Mohawk Paper Mill.

Besides his parent’s, Paul was predecease­d by his wife Elizabeth Ano, who died in 1998. and a brother Wayne Ano and brother-in-law, John Drinkwine.

He is survived by a er Harry Ano of Keen Valby ley, NY and his law Connie Drinkwine of Troy, NY. Paul was uncle to uncle to; Michael and Mary Jo Drinkwine, as well as being survived many nieces, nephews and friends.
