Linda Farrell Sharp
NORTH GREENBUSH - Linda Farrell Sharp, 75, of Drake Way died Sunday, November 26, 2017, at Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center after a long illness.
Born in Portland CT, she was daughter of the late Paul Farrell and Marion Mahoney Farrell and wife for 50 years of Howard Gates Sharp. She had resided in Bellville and Washington Township, NJ until the mid 90’s when she moved to Wynantskill and was a 1960 graduate of Troy High School.
Mrs. Sharp was a secretaryy for the Dean of Continuing Education at Hudson Valley Community College for several years.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and walking and was a EMT Lieutenant in Washington Township, NJ and a member of the YWCA in East Greenbush.
Survivors in addition to her husband include two sons, Kevin Sharp, Wynantskillynantskill and Brian (Brooke) Sharp, Florida; a stepson, Howard Sharp Jr., Averill Park; a stepdaughter, Diane Bowen, Newburyport, MA and three grandchildren, Brian and Brendon Sharp and Evan Bowen.
Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 NYNY 150 West Sand Lake on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 9-11 AM with a funeral service at 11 AM with Rev. Michael Gorchov, Rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, officiating.
