NYS Coaching Certification Courses:
Theories and Techniques of Coaching, one of the courses required to coach in New York State high schools, will be taught at Vent Fitness Center (2080Western Avenue, Guilderland, NY in Hamilton Square Mall. The class will be taught 7a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 16-17. The cost is $175if registered before Dec. 1and $225if registered after. First Night Saratoga 5k Run:
The 20th annual First Night Saratoga 5K Run, presented by Saratoga Arts, will be held on Sunday, December 31, at 5:30PM. The race is limited to 1,500registrants. Awards are given to the top three male and female, plus age category awards. All finishers will receive a First Night Commemorative Medal.
