AP girls bowling rolls to win
AVERILL PARK, N.Y. » The Averill Park varsity girls bowling team earned a 22.5-9.5 win over Niskayuna in a Suburban Council contest Monday.
Stephanie Mangene led the way with a 500 triple for the Warriors and Tori Radley rolled a 471.
Averill Park had a 2,459-2,247 edge in total pinfall.
Gina Voris led all bowlers with a 512 series for Niskayuna.

UALBANY MOVES TO NO. 5 » The University at Albany men’s basketball team dropped to No. 5 in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid- Major Rankings. It is the fourth straight week the Great Danes have been in the top six.
UAlbany was at No. 4 last week before falling at Memphis in the Gotham Classic and defeating Canisius at home for an 11-2 overall record.
UAlbany picked up 567 points in the poll, released every Monday night. UAlbany stands as the highest- ranked mid- major in the state of New York and the highest from the America East Conference, being the only team in the Top-25 from each category.
