LOUISE M. (SPENCER) PATALINO

TROY - Louise M. Patalino, 74, died Sunday December 17, 2017 surrounded by her family and friends in her cherished typical Sunday football fashion. Born in Troy, Louise was the daughter of the late Adam and Alice Kruchesky and stepdaughter of Edward M. Bagley. She was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and worked for the NYS Dept. of Labor for over 24 years. She enjoyed sitting with family and friends around the kitchen table or campfire eating, drinking, laughing and playing games. She was an avid Washington Redskins and NY Mets Fan. Known as ‘ Ma’ to all, she single handedly raised her children and had a life-long impact on their friends as the ‘Burgh Block Mom’. Louise was the mother of David and Jeff Spencer, Deana Harrington and Paula Patalino. Foster mother to Angela Mauriello and Kimberly Connors. She was predeceased by her son Glen Patalino and her brother Paul Kruchesky and leaves behind many nieces and nephews and beloved family members. Louise was affectionately known as “Babcie” to her grandchildren and their friends, grandmother to Sean, Tanille, Jonathan, Christelle and Lexie Spencer; Benjamin, Vincent and Ethan Harrington and great grandmother to Ciarra Johnston. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Frank P. McDonald & Son Funeral Home, 870 Second Avenue in Lansingburgh. A memorial mass will be planned at a later date. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Troy. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7.
